I just gotta make a post for my Avatar:Legend of Korra flailing.

I have an undying love for Avatar: The Last Airbender. For so many reasons, guys. But this post is because I get super excitable when I see more clips of the leaked ep1 of the new show. Also this quote.

"We’re gonna see how the Avatar world has developed! There are gonna be cars and bending battles and metalbending cops that are led by Toph’s inevitably awesome daughter. We’re gonna see Spirit!Aang dishing out vaguely useful advice and reminding his son to not be so uptight, gosh. We’re gonna have a FEMALE protagonist, the likes of which are so rarely seen. A lady who’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, who will kick ass and ask Bolin to write down names. We’re gonna have animation that’s so detailed and cinematic that you’ll weep at the inferiority of other cartoons. We’re gonna get 26 episodes of pure enjoyment and not even Nick’s greatest attempts at fucking up the scheduling could possibly stop that."

Epic worldbuilding. Top-notch animation. Visits from my favorite characters from the last show. FEMALE LEAD. Cinematic greatness. Beautiful art. Story? Story I can only hope will be as amazing as the last one. I have really, really high hopes for this and I love the makers, two awesome guys, for pushing this.

I can not wait for this to come out.
