So I am SO IN LOVE with all the great fics. I just can't keep up. I can't comment on all the ones I read, and I can't read all the ones I open up in tabs. >.> BUT I DO LOVE THEM ALLLL.
Also have collabs with
iri_descent for all types of fall,
peperima (when ever the words come to her, i hope its still on...),
telm_393( for some crazyness), and
black_betty_26 for my merAU. If you'd like to back out or discuss stuff, this is the week to do it. :)
2) rl- i had more :( but its better not posted
a. books- went to used bookstore with a complication before the complication, and bought 6 books for 22$. YES-- a moominvalley book, the merlin conspiracy, the hero and the sword, candide, and dickinson poems. now evaluating everything through(was this a date? filter ughhhh). :((
b. compy fail- well, actually its my fault, I forgot to run virus checks and my win XP died. So I don't have my computer with art programs or my tablet or...stuff. So i have free days, but only traditional media. I will use markers and ink and pencils! and maybe charcoal. 8D
c. MUSEUM SHOWCASING STREET ART. Went to L.A to visit my granny, and my bro took a day with me to see the Art in the Street at the MOCA. holy moly,
So it was HUGE. we spend 2.5 hours, and didn't even stop for any of the movie theaters. I love, love, love how transient it is, how dirty, how raw, how expressive it can be. We've come from cholo tagging, delinquents painting trains, and wild style to a whole exhibit and political standpoints. There is a wall of all the graffiti on the Isreali/Palestinian border (not just Banksy) and it is beautiful. There was a whimsical "street"
with the most amazing signs.
This is all the stuff on the top, on the bottom where you walked there were stores, rooms, grotty churches, quasi glass windows with sayings, and one room covered with graffiti sketches.
this was half a wall.

also half a wall (one of my favorites, but not all of it is showing)
and a wall of instruments
The artist had a drum set with faces that worked, and a guitar that worked, and a keyboard. Also, houses on the walls and ninjas in the tiny collector's boxes and fucking figurines behind the mini train set. Among other things. I loved this part.
and this one. There were little details, like tagging on the seats you can't see, and the trippy lines. <3
this is a towering paper artpiece, set in a tent with a light in the middle. i realize i should have included some scale, because lots of these things are just stunningly large.
This went up a whole wall. And had another half.
3)art

A precursor to my next piece, done when I couldn't make anything with the sketch and was feeling blue.
my first ae_match submission.

a really horrible picture of my belated present to
osaki_nana_707 This Arthur from her fic I've Got a Rock and Roll Life, and I loved the part where Arthur and Eames sing together on stage, but I wanted to do something dramatic with Arthur because I love his musical growth in the story.
