On a non-holiday note, would it be odd if I talking about fandom on a college supplement? I really, really, really want to but don't know if it's a good idea or not. Its for Brown Uni, and I don't have great chances so I might as well, right? /0\ I have to submit them in 5 days. powers of procrastination!

I think there are ways to talk about fandom while making it sound intellectual and impressive. You just have to couch it in terms of media studies and audience theory, things like that.
