My first time and I spent 1/2 the time at panels and 1/2 in the exhibit hall. I am -500+ in money and over 9000 in happiness and fun. v Bro Troll below.



Thursday:
-Got my badges, and this swag bag.
I also snatched a SPN one! I don't have pics though.

-Went through the crazy that is the exhibit hall and walked 1/3 of it.

I bought the Girl Genius novels and got them signed!!!

-Then stood in like at 12 for the PSYCH PANEL!!!! Got free sunglasses and Dule Hill owns my heart. They sang and charmed the socks and pants off of everyone! Maggie Smith was so cute and everything. This was a super fun panel. Filled with answers like, Shawn and mature don't go together. And Take Your Jacket Off singing courtesy of Dule Hill. And a Clue like episode teaser! The next season will be AMAZEBALLS.

-Also a Beauty and the Beast (where Derek Hale = Beast in lurkerdom), Elementary, and Dexter. Dexter panel was full of awk where jokes about failed marriages were made. BUT THE NEXT SEASON WILL BE AWESOME.

Friday:
-Got up at 4am(and left at 5:30 to get there at 6am)to stand in line for Korra, and by default Community which was SO FUN. While standing in line I met some awesome Teen Wolf fans, one of which who got Dylan's name card! We flailed SO HARD GAIZ. I also recced them the hairpulling fic. UNF. My bro was like "not judging" but oh judge he did. :PPPPP FANGIRLS UNITE!!!

-Community panel was SO GOOD. They talked about fun stuff, like rapping, spoilers, the love between Jeff/Dean, and even the awesome portrayal of Asperger's. One of the greatest lines in a pilot ever: "I see your value now." They are huge fans of the show and it is so awesome. <3

-Korra panel was full of amazing new character designs and slightly meh table read where the Bolin voice actor is just as lovable as Bolin. No Amon voice reading jokes. :(

-FIREFLY PANEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't quite collected my feels yet. I was teary THE WHOLE TIME. My palms hurt from clapping. I cheered so hard I hurt afterwards. All the actors are so charismatic and funny and Nathan Fillion knows how to steal hearts. Joss Whedon is hilarious, and answers well.
"Have you ever camped out for anything special?"
"Camping"
BTW I don't remember things word for word. So. Yeah. Just impressions here!
Nathan made faces while Joss talked, and Summer was adorbs and Joss missed all the cast members because he's greedy, and he wants all his favorite meat puppets. <3
The most touching line was about the fans inhabiting the Firefly world, though. About it being real and not just a show because we live it. It's more than that. Even though the show it gone, we still live it--albeit without the set and the new episodes and all that jazz. And it got to me so bad because that is fandom. Fandom is living in a world because you can't bear to leave it so you'll find ways to keep it alive. He loves that we keep Firefly alive with fanworks and our support of his vision is immense and comforting and rewarding for ALL OF US.

-Stood for 1 hr for my official Comic-Con shirt! sold out of my size ALREADY.

-Then bought some cute stuff, like these stickers.

SCIENCE, ANTHROPOMORPHIC CUTENESS, AND PUNS ALL TOGETHER!!!! ALL MY FAVORITE THINGS.

Saturday

-had the best tacos(beef tongue, beef head, and other amazing things)

-Beach, then Cards Against Humanity. WE PLAYED THE WHOLE DECK.

Sunday-

-left at 5am to the shuttle to line up for FRINGE.

-FRINGE PANEL WAS AWESOME. JOSHUA JACKSON IS PRECIOUS. The girls were crying and he "cried" by spalshing water onto his face and pretending sadness. Then he got it on his pants and it looked like he wet himself, so he told the audience JUST IN CASE. The actor that plays Broyles thought he could go into the hotel with a HAT ON. AND NOT GET MOBBED. ADORBSSS.

-Supernatural
Everyone is a bag of kittens. The superhero name for Sam would be mosse. Also the writers like him shirtless. The ensuing bromance separation is going to kill me. Mischa is not as trolly as I thought but is still adorableeee.

-Doctor Who
Oh Moffat, even Matt Smith is often Moffucked. And the cast is all awkwardly adorable. They play the awkward game to newcomers!

Arthur Davrill also does a brilliant impression of Karen Gillian. I have also been wanting to use "brilliant" instead of awesome now. THOSE BRITS. The moderator was a doll and a big fan and it was so fun.

-Met the amazingly sweet and cute laria_gwyn ! It was a good thing she found me both times because I am horrible at crowds.

-Bought 3 books from Peter S. Beagle, including THE LAST UNICORN. HE SIGNED THEM ALL AND I got them for 5 dollars off. YAY. I was so awkward though, I spent 20 min fondling the books silently on the side while they had a unicorn cosplayer there take pictures and stuff. So yeah, maybe I DESERVED THAT DISCOUNT.

All in all it was so fun. I am also in love with this yacht
It was docked next to the convention center and the Hall H line. So we got to oogle it. AND ITS HELICOPTER. ;___; gleaming sexiness.



On a side note my author for irbb hasn't replied to my email and we're posting on the 25th and IDK WHAT TO DO.
